Hi David, thanks for commenting. For other DAM related resources, check out the blog roll on the right column of this page.

It's nice to have a consultant to work with on a DAM project, but not a requirement. Just remember that there's more to this than technology-there's also people and processes involved, and that's usually the hard part.

I'm assuming the DAM conference you attended was Createasphere last week in NYC? If so, too bad I didn't see your comment earlier because I was there and we could have met up! There's also the Henry Stuart DAM conferences if you're looking for other conference options.

(Also, since you're looking for a DAM program I'll go ahead and plug my company's product: Portfolio Server)

Good luck!

I am a new hire as a project manager for a DAM project. I am a recent MLS graduate with a little experience working as a team member for a similar project for a much bigger institution with ample resources. In my new project I am basically alone set with the task to find a DAM program that fits the needs of my mid sized corporation. It is indeed a daunting task but one that I am determined to be a success at. I do not want to work with a paid consultant but the information I receive from this site is very useful. Any other resources you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am attending the DAM conference and I am sure that will be a good place to start.
