How important are file and folder naming standards in digital asset management?

In a recent survey of Portfolio Server users, only one participant responded that file and folder names were not important for DAM in their organization. The majority of respondents (44%) said that naming standards were “Mandatory” followed by “Very important” (35%) and “Somewhat important” (17%).
